West Virginia University is one of just 29 schools to receive honors from the American Football Coaches Association for graduating 70 percent or more of its football student-athletes that enrolled in the 2000-02 academic year. WVU is the only school in the state of West Virginia to earn that honor.
Wow, surely Marshall would have been in the mix also if it wasn't for their players having to take extended breaks from class to attend court appointments, probation hearings, and serving time in the Cabell County Jail.
Hats off to Coach Rodriguez, his staff, and the WV football team for this accomplishment!
