Let's see if the Big East can keep the ball rolling in week two.
Pitt at Cincinnati kicks things off on Friday the 8th. Chalk up one win for the Big East! I expect this to be another strong showing for Pitt. Cincy has some young talent, but they might still be a year away from making some noise. Pitt 35-10
Wake Forest at UConn- If this game was played at Wake, I might be inclined to take Wake. But UConn proved they can score last week, and could run away with this one. UConn 31-17 (Editor's note, this game is being played the 16th, not this weekend. Same score prediction, though.)
Louisville at Temple- The road won't matter. We could see Louisville's 4th string quarterback in this one. Louisville 99-3
Illinois at Rutgers- Payback is a bitch, and the bitch is waiting in Piscataway! Rutgers 44-10
Florida International at South Florida- I see a trend here. South Florida is going with Matt Grothe at quarterback, and that has to be an improvement. South Florida 27-10
Iowa At Syracuse- I'd love to tell you that this is the game that Syracuse turns it all around and starts their trek back to the top of the Big East, but I don't think it's going to happen this week. Iowa is just to talented. I expect Syracuse to stay close with the help of the home crowd, but in the end Iowa will be too much. Iowa 33-14
For my West Virginia prediction, you'll have to keep an eye on the AOL Fanhouse, but it might be in line with the point spreads from the rest of the games.
