You know, it's becoming obvious to me that I am back. At least a little, anyway. And if you believe the talk on the interwebs and the Ebay's, so is Huggy Bear. All of this is subscription stuff, but it seems that someone was just waiting to leave Kansas.
I could, and probably am wrong in calling this a done deal, but it's interesting none the less. What remains to be seen is how the current members of the team will mesh with Huggins style of coaching. It's every bit 180 degrees away from that of Beilein.
Regardless of whether or not I really want Huggins coaching my team, please, please, please don't tell me that this is his last stop and that he wants to be a Mountaineer until he retires! It's simply BS. If you were unlucky enough to listen to his interview on Metro News 5-6 years ago when he was being courted by WVU, you remember how coy he was about the whole thing. It really sounded like he was doing the interview just to make sure he didn't burn the wrong bridge. Well, that was a good move on his part as it turns out. But how long this will last is any one's guess.
Is my name Johnny or Debbie Downer? It just seems like this whole thing is like a dog chasing a car. What are you going to do once you catch it?

I remember what happened 5 years ago. I'll believe he's there when I see him on the sidelines coaching his first game.
No, I don't believe he'll be there till he retires. Then again, these days, who is? and who can fault someone for moving along to larger challenges? Not me.
P.S. I'm glad to see you back! :-)
Thank you again Mountainlaurel! Don't know how much I will write on here, but I think it's clear that I will.
