Congrats to Rutgers

Rutgers started out the season 1-5 and were all but left for dead. But quietly, things turned around even while they were still losing games. They played West Virginia and Cincinnati tough, and while they lost both those games they kept fighting and eventually got on the winning side of things against UConn. Since then, they have been the team everyone expected to see out of Rutgers this year.

Not much else to say, except something very corny but true. They never gave up, and it paid off today against NC State. So congrats to you, Rutgers! And thanks for keeping the Big East undefeated in bowl games this year!

Congratulations to your Mountaineers too! I guess our two favorite teams showed the state of North Carolina what's what (finally). Now we just need for Pitt, UConn, and Cincinnati to complete the Big East sweep.
