Current and former Marshall players arrested

Chralie Tynes, Dionte Wilson, and Geremy Rodamer were arrested this morning. Rodamer was the only active player of the three. Apparently it was a misdemeanor, so any chances of taking the Fulmer Team Cup are probably minimal.
We give credit for the late push. That never say die attitude is respectable. We'll post more as details become available.

08/21/06 Update From WTCR:

Marshall Head Football Coach Mark Snyder will be awaiting word from Huntington Police on the circumstances of the arrest of a key defensive player Saturday night. Records from the Western Regional Jail in Barboursville show Junior Defensive Back Geremy Rodamer was arrested on an unspecified misdemeanor charge. Rodamer is a 5-10, 202 pound junior from Morgantown who is slated to face his hometown team, WVU, on September second. The Herd wrapped up its pre-sesaon drills Saturday with an open scrimmage. Regular drills resume on Monday. The Marshall football program has been plagued with arrests of numerous current and former players in the past few years, including current starting quarterback Bernie Morris and tailback Ahmad Bradshaw.
