If I tried really hard, I might have been able to make the story shorter than the headline, but that just wouldn't be right. A call to the WVU ticket office today produced zero results. In fact, they didn't want to hear anything about it!
Hi, my season tickets were stolen Saturday night and...
I was just wondering if......
Look, all I want is....
Now I'm sure that I wasn't talking to the person in charge, so I will have to try back later. You may think I'm joking, but the above is pretty close to how the conversation went.

Johnny,
I'm pretty sure that's how most (probably all) universities would react to the 'I had my season tickets stolen'. It's very unfortunate but I wouldn't count on the university to replace them for free.
Do this: I'm assuming the tickets were assigned seats...right? Have someone scout it out next home game.
Have them discretly follow the perps after the game to their vehicle.
Get their license plate number and doing a little snooping...
Good luck!
Season tickets are expensive. Report it to the police. Plus, it's football, they might be interested.
You can play detective too by checking out eBay, StubHub and places like that to see if they're being sold.
I've done all of the above, but thanks for the stubhub suggestion anon, I forgot about that one! Comment very much appreciated!!!!
