Tell me this isn't happening!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Before I get into anything about the game, I have to tell this story. On my way back from the game, I developed a migraine like no other. I had to pull over about 5 times between Clarksburg and Parkersburg (68 miles) to rest my eyes, or because I thought I was going to be sick. I can't tell you how much I hate halogen bulbs!!!!!!!!!! Makes me sick just thinking about it. So, when I got home I closed my car door and locked it and went straight in and went to sleep. The bad news is that I didn't lock any of the other doors. And yeah for me, I left all my recording equipment, camera, and season tickets in the car. DE-DE DE!

So after I woke up and got myself back in order, I went out to the car to find the back hatch slightly open, and everything inside all tossed around, along with missing the three items listed above and my luggage. So I called the police and yada yada yada. We've all been there before. The officer took down my info, and a list of what was stolen. And that's really about all he could do. I have no complaints. With no description, and all the pawn shops closed, what more could you do?

After he left, I did decide to go up to the park about a half a block from my house to check around the perimeter to see if anything was tossed out. Almost as soon as I got into the park, I found all my clothes in the woods that surround the park. So I walked the edge of the park, and found my bag with all the recording equipment in it stuffed in a bush. But still no tickets or camera. I'll let you know about if I am able to get my tickets replaced, or if I am out of luck. As far as the camera goes, I had some really good pictures including The Pit, Big Cat, and Jersey Bullhorn. As well as the crew I tailgate with. Before I check the recording equipment to see if it still works, I am going to wait for someone to come by to fingerprint it. Just in case we get a match of a known criminal. I would really hate to ruin the evidence. So, there will be no posting of the podcast until then. Sorry. I was really looking forward to people hearing my prediction before the game. My guess 45-10, the score 42-10. And I have a broken watch that is right twice a day.....

I know the feeling. You feel like you've so violated! I once had a portable CD player stolen from my car (I'm sure your camera and tix are worth a lot more than that).

Hope you recover the stolen goods...

Thanks Butch. I think we might be able to get new tickets printed off for this. I'll have to wait until the ticket office opens up on Tuesday. I really had some great pictures from the tailgate. Oh well, every time God closes a door, he opens a window.
