Highlight of the weekend would have to be Ohio State squeaking out a win against the always tough Illini. Nothing says "we're number one" like barely winning against a team that is 2-8, and lost to Ohio earlier in the year.
Close second was the coaching genius of Lloyd Carr substituting before the game was in hand, and Michigan having to hold off pesky Ball St. (3-7).
Lastly, Tennessee forces 4 turnovers on LSU, most of which occurred after the Tennessee went up 17-7 in the third quarter, and still managed to lose.

And no, we can't have the '85 Bear defense. But, the 3-3-5 is just not working against the better teams that we play. We've done surprisingly well against the run with that defense, but just awful against the pass. I'm not just talking about this year. When we had experience in the secondary last year, both Louisville and Georgia passed at will on us. I'm not going to turn this into a crusade, because I wasn't really complaining about it before the Louisville game. It's just my two cents.

THEY'VE GOT MY NUMBER THEY'VE GOT ME ALRIGHT
THEY KNOW MY NUMBER THEY'VE GOT ME ALRIGHT
THINK ABOUT IT A WHILE
THE END AIN'T THAT BAD
TAKE OUT THE TRASH WITH ONE HAND
IT FALLS APART LIKE A BAND
JUST HOLD ON TO IT TIGHT
THIS IS A CALL IT AINT MINE NOT AT ALL
AND THE WORLD CAN SIT TIGHT AND ALRIGHT
TAKING YOUR TIME AND GET RIGHT BACK ON LINE
IT DEPENDS IT DEPENDS AND IT COMES BACK AGAIN
YES THINGS THAT EVERYBODY WOULD SAY
BELIEVING IS HARD
BELIEVING IS ART
THINGS EVERYBODY SHOULD KNOW
THE END WILL COME SLOW
AND LOVE BREAKS YOUR HEART
--hey rad, been lovin your spoon lyrics, and hatin' these games- at least you're not a steelers fan too, like me.
Thanks Punk, and nice lyrics yourself. Today started out great! I sang the San Diego Super Charger song to one of the people in my office that likes the Browns. She knows the song well, as I have emailed it to her on several occasions.
