Mountaineer basketball players Joe Mazzulla and Cam Thoroghman were arrested at PNC park Monday night following a case of bad judgment mixed with a lot of liquid courage.Police say Joe Mazzulla and Cam Thoroughman were arraigned and released Tuesday morning. Mazzulla faces a charge of felony aggravated assault, both are charged with several misdemeanors including disorderly conduct, hindering apprehension and resisting arrest, underage drinking and purchase, consumption or transfer of liquor.First off guys, don't go to Pittsburgh! WVU officials released this two sentence statement Tuesday afternoon, "We are aware of the situation. We will let the judicial process take its course and the matter will be handled internally."
Second, nothing good ever comes of resisting arrest. At best, you run yourself to death and then get handcuffed. I can imagine a best case scenario that someone said something bad about WVU and you were just protecting her honor. At worst, you were drunk and not going to take anything from anyone.
