Defense didn't show up. Offense didn't show up. East Carolina did on both sides of the ball. I'm thinking we might be missing the blocking of Owen Schmitt more that I would have thought before the season started. But teams had to account for him. Now they just need to worry about White and Devine.

ECU kept the ball for so long in the first half that we never got in a rhythm on offense, and before you know it, it's 17-3 and we couldn't run our offense the way we wanted. We had the game dictated to us. That can't happen if there is any hope of salvaging this season.
