Was there a game last night? Oh yeah, I was there! It was over almost before it began, with Slaton and company running any direction that suited them. If you missed it, Brian Grummell of College Football Resource and AOL College Fanhouse did a live blog of the game last night. I'm still wondering if Chris Fowler said "touchdown Virginia Tech" after Patrick White's second half touchdown run.
Just a quick thought, I'm sorry for my "urine filled balloon" comment yesterday. It's exactly that sort of thing that I would rather not be known for. I had just finished my second espresso when I read Mike Wise's column, and I reacted rather than just pointing out that his team didn't have a chance in hell. A much better reaction was delivered by Jude @ WMITC.
I was really hoping the game would be a little closer. But if you can't stop the run, and you play West Virginia, you have a long night ahead of you.
I'll have more thoughts later in the day here and here.

Speak your mind!
If a urine filled balloon was on your mind, preach on it.
That's why I like this site.
You're right Mike. I shall not appologize again. I can take all the "your team is good, but you won't win a title" stuff. I just have no tolerance for the kind of stuff he said. However, getting married to your cousin isn't legal in West Virginia, but it is in Maryland.
